Privacy policy

Updated 11 October 2026. This policy describes the personal backup utility operated by the account owner.

Access and purpose

With the owner's authorization, the application uses Google's drive.file permission to create, list, read, verify and rotate its backup archives and manifests, and files explicitly selected for it. It processes file names, identifiers, sizes, checksums and available storage information only to operate these backups.

Storage and protection

Database contents are encrypted before upload to Google Drive. Verification downloads and decrypts archives on the owner's server. OAuth tokens are held in private configuration with restricted filesystem permissions. Archive passwords are stored separately from the archives. Access is limited to the owner and authorized administrators.

Sharing and use

Backup files are stored in the owner's Google Drive using Google APIs. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. It is not shared with unrelated third parties. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and control

Archives and temporary verification files follow the owner's configured retention and storage limits. The owner can change these limits, delete backup files, and revoke the application's authorization in Google Account settings. Revoking access prevents further API access but does not itself delete existing archives.

This website

This information site has no login, analytics or tracking cookies. The web server may record standard technical access logs, including IP addresses, request paths and timestamps, for operation and security.
